You can Lose Weight without Starving with Negative Calorie Foods
What are Negative Calorie Foods?
The negative calorie effect can be understood by the following example:
A food consisting of 300 calories may only require 150 calories to digest by our body, the remaining 150 calories is added to our body fat. This results in a gain of body fat.
On the other hand, if a food (such as a negative calorie food) requires more calories to digest than the calorie content of the food itself, then this results in a loss of calories. This number of extra calories are taken from the stored fat in the body. For example, suppose a 10 calorie vegetable requires 150 calories to digest. So the extra calories should be taken from body resulting in a net loss of 140 calories from our body fat !! You may argue that the more you eat such negative calorie foods, the more you should lose weight !! But that has not been the case. There is a limit for everything.
How it works?
Yes it is possible that some foods possess negative calorie effect. All foods have carbohydrate, fat, protein, caloric (calories), vitamin and mineral content. Vitamins stimulate living tissues to produce enzymes that breakdown the caloric nutrients of that food.
The negative calorie foods produce enzymes in quantities sufficient to break down not only its own calories, but additional calories needed for digestion. This is the reasoning given for the negative calorie foods.
Also note that these foods will help in weight loss if they are consumed in raw form without adding any oil or butter. Raw vegetables and raw fruits are always considered good for weight loss.

One thing is certain. As these negative calorie foods contain very low calories, you will not gain weight if you eat these foods, replacing your normal high calorie foods. With a little exercise you should definitely lose weight if you eat a diet rich in these foods.
